Guidelines for presentation

We report here some information about the presentation of orals and posters. Do not hesitate to get in touch in case of problems.

Presentations will also be made available to attendees on the Conference app Conf4Me.
You are requested to send to Presentations@Compumag2025.com the poster in PDF format in case of poster presentation, or a 3 pages summary in pdf format in case of Oral presentations. The deadline for the files is June 10th. Conf4Me slots corresponding to unreceived files will be left empty.

Oral presentations

  • Each oral presentation will be given 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for the discussion.
  • Speakers are expected to arrive at the conference hall at least 15 minutes BEFORE the start of their sessions to report to the session chair.
  • The conference hall will be ready with a laptop computer installed with MS PowerPoint, which the speakers are required to use for their presentations. Acrobat Reader will also be installed.
  • The speakers are advised to bring their presentation files on USB memory sticks.
Please transfer the file to the laptop computer in the conference hall during the break before the sessions and test the presentation with the session chair.
  • To ensure uniformity across different presentations, you are kindly asked to use the oral presentation template available at the link below.

Poster Presentations

  • Authors of poster presentations are asked to prepare their posters in advance and display them on the designated panels during the assigned poster session. Presentation codes will be shown on the assigned board.
  • Each poster should include the digest title, authors, and affiliation and must fit within an 841mm x 1189mm space (A0 format).
  • Ensure you to remove your posters during the take-down time. The posters remaining unattended after the session will be discarded.
  • Tapes, scissors and thumbtacks will be provided for your use. (Use of double-sided tape is prohibited). Please note that the venue does not provide any printing facility for posters.
  • Use the appropriate presentation template available below.

Two-page digest

The two-pages digests submission is now open. Authors are invited to submit their digests to the conference COMPUMAG 2025 until the deadline. The digest should be in the PDF format and must follow the format outlined in the template file. You can use Microsoft Word or LaTeX to prepare the digest. Please use one of the following template files:
  • Microsoft Word ( Word , PDF )
  • LaTeX ( pdfLaTeX recommended )
In any case, check if your PDF file appears correctly in a PDF reader. This is especially important when using nonstandard fonts that are sometimes not embedded in the PDF file.

Authors can submit the two-page digest via the ConfTool system of the conference, available using the link below. Previous users accounts from Compumag 2023 have largely been recovered. If you are not able to find your ConfTool account, please create a new one from the ConfTool access page.

>> Submit digests

In preparing the two-page paper, please keep in mind the following points:
  • The abstract must clearly state the novelty of the submitted work regarding the numerical computation of electromagnetic fields.
  • The IEEE keywords must be chosen from the IEEE keyword list.
  • The topic number should be correctly indicated in the submission, according to the following list (e.g., a paper about theoretical aspects of magnetic fields and heat transfer coupling will be A5)
    1. Theoretical Aspects:
      1. Mathematical Modelling and Formulations
      2. Static and Quasi-static Fields
      3. Wave Propagation
      4. Material Modelling
      5. Multi Physics and Coupled Problems
      6. Education
    2. Methodologies:
      1. Optimization and Design
      2. Numerical Techniques
      3. Machine Learning and Data-Driven Techniques
      4. Multi-Scale Modelling and Homogenization
      5. Software Methodologies
      6. Quantum Computing
    3. Novel Computational Methods in Applications:
      1. Antennas and High Frequency Devices
      2. Electric Machines and Drives
      3. Electromagnetic Sensors, Sensing and Metrology
      4. Electromagnetic Compatibility
      5. Bioelectromagnetics
      6. Other Electromagnetic Devices and Applications.

  • Maximum number of topics to select is two. The Conftool do not distinguish the preference between the selected topics. For authors who want to make a priority order on the selected topics, they can add this in “Remarks on This Contribution” at the bottom of the submission page.
  • The paper should be written using a proper English language.
  • Adequacy of references is one of many factors considered by COMPUMAG paper reviewers.
Moreover, the editors of conference proceedings discourage any form of bibliometric manipulation: authors are kindly supposed not to include irrelevant references. Accordingly, the editors expect authors to not excessively cite their own prior publications.
